Irish Goddess Archetypes Project
First and most importantly I want to thank all the people (especially editors) who believe in my process and creation and give me the space and time needed to complete this project. Because it turns out - I need more time than I originally imagined. It's a whole journey closely intertwined with my own personal journey. The roots of this work started 9 years ago when I started visiting Ireland for the first time. It was my first little introduction and discoveries of old Irish Celtic mythology even before I decided to move to Ireland. At the same time, all of this couldn't have happened without my previous dive into other polytheist systems, especially Indian Hindu mythology and Greek mythology, because it was my first experience of understanding how deity archetypes can beneficially help people understand their own different sides and aspects of self. My big thanks to my Indian friends and teachers in and outside of India. Because it is the stable base I always can build on. After all, India is the mother civilization of our Indo-European family where Celtic culture also belongs. Because of the nature of my creation, where I always combine a few different artistic disciplines, because that's how my brain is wired, I need to combine a few different senses and experience the moment multi-dimensionally. And that again comes to the bottom line that I am a ceremonialist. Music, visual arts, feelings, touch , smells etc. Right now, one of the layers of this project is a production series of photos from the past and presence where I am trying to embody different sides of my personality and feminine archetypes and it helps me to put it into the context of today's modern society. Because painting is not my strongest channel of expression and also because the personal embodiment also helps me with a better and more profound understanding. I'm sharing it with my little community on Instagram - where I feel comfortable enough to share it , because it's quite an intimate environment. Also, I can't forget to give thanks to all people that encounter my personal journey and their energy also influences my experience. Because it turns out, the creation of this book is a ceremony on its own and everything that comes along is part of the journey.
